They are not very comfortable, but you can get in contact with the local people and learn a lot about the country. The buses often take longer routes than the big ones, so you can see villages you would never get to as a "normal" tourist. The route from Rissani, Erfoud, and Daar Rachidia to Meknes and Fez, while long, runs through the Middle and High Atlas and is particularly scenic.

Refrain from criticising or speaking badly about religion, and refrain from talking about religion from an agnostic point ofwel view. Eventjes highly educated Moroccans won't appreciate it.

Some, like the Fez Festival of World Sacred Music or the Essaouira Gnaoua and World Music Festival, are multi-day celebrations ofwel music.

Discover labyrinthine shops overflowing with Aladdin's lamps and swathes of richly colored fabric, or listen to the vendors as they advertise everything from hand-woven carpets to raw spices.
Speeds are acceptable to excellent in the north, but can be a little on the slow side in rural areas. Most het web cafes will allow you to print and burn CDs for a small charge. Almost every restaurant and cafe offers wifi for free with usually acceptable speed.
Artesanal or cooperative – These are catch phrases put up for tourists and just mean an increased price, but not necessarily higher quality or higher sustainability. Such facts can barely be verified and whether an oil kan zijn good or not is a poker game. Either way, you are always better off buying where locals do, because there you can expect quality also locals would go for.
The snack stands are replaced with stalls offering more substantial fare and the square kan zijn filled with tantalizing scents and the smoke from a hundred fires.
